TEMPL is committed to inclusive growth and a key strategy in this is to enhance employability of the youth by providing training on vocational skills. TISA, established by TEMPL is a step in this direction.
Conceived by Shri B. Prabhakaran, TISA was established as a CSR project to impart appropriate skills to the impoverished youth of the Keonjhar region, which is predominantly inhabited by tribal population.
The academy is headed by a retired army officer with rank of 'General' and 7 full time trainers are involved in the programme. In the first two years, TISA has trained nearly 500 young men who have all found gainful employment.
