              Diwali, "the Festival of Lights" is one of the most important and colourful festivals celebrated with much fanfare, traditional good will and rituals across the country. As part of the Diwali celebration, Canadian International School Bangalore, initiated a multi - faceted program in the school premises. Students from 37 nationalities across the globe celebrated the festival of Diwali in all its traditional fervour with jubilation and enthusiasm at the school campus.
The event kicked off by lighting of the lamp followed by various colourful programmes like Skit, Dance, National Anthem, Antakshari, Religious programs and many more cultural activities. There were various stalls of Jewellery, Diyas, Mehandi, Handi craft, Ladies Sarees from Chinapatna, Lantern, Rajasthani food, candles, jute etc. There were also stalls by Belakku Handicapped School, Srilanka Refugee School. The proceeds from Jewellery stall will go to Mother Teresa's Home for the old and destitute.
