HDFC Bank Board recommends 70% dividend

HDFC Bank Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Bank at its meeting held on April 24, 2007, inter alia, has recommended dividend of Rs 7.00 per equity share of Rs 10/- each (i.e. 70%) for the year ended March 31, 2007.

The stock closed the day at Rs.1013.60, up by Rs.26.20 or 2.65%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.1023 and low of Rs.976.05. The total traded quantity was 1306185 compared to 2 week average of 87726.
