Four New Private FM Radio iiChannels Become Operational

Four more FM radio channels have been commissioned during March 2007 taking the total of private FM radio channels in the country to 58. The new channels are: Ananda Offset at Kolkata, H.T. Music at Bangalore, Singla Property and Puran Multimedia at Hissar. The Government received a sum of over Rs. 4.56 crore as annual fee from these private FM radio broadcasters.
