Sterlite Technologies Ltd allots 22822 shares under Employee Stock Option Scheme

The Allotment Committee of the Board of Directors of Sterlite Technologies Ltd in its meeting held on April 17, 2012 has allotted 22,822 equity shares to those grantees who had exercised their options under the Company's Employee Stock Option Scheme - 2006.

The Company has hereby confirm that the aforesaid shares will rank pari passu with the existing shares of the Company in all respects.

The Sterlite Technologies Ltd stock was trading at Rs.39.90, up by Rs.0.75 or 1.92%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.40.15 and low of Rs.39.45.
