Mr. Aamar Deo Singh - Head Advisory, Angel Broking Ltd
Markets ended in the red for the fifth consecutive day, with overall mixed global cues, concerns about 2nd wave of coronavirus attack in many parts of the world along with profit booking. The benchmark index Nifty 50 was down 21 points to close @ 11,131. Declines outnumbered advances by a narrow margin, indicating probably a pause to the sell-off. Axis Bank, GAIL and Coal India were amongst the Nifty top 3 gainers while top 3 losers were Bharti Airtel, Bharti Infratel and Tata Steel. Nifty is approaching its crucial support zone around 11,000 mark whereas immediate resistance is seen around 11,250-11,300 zone. Also, tomorrow being monthly F&O expiry, we are likely to witness enhanced volatility.
