Arcil, India's pioneering asset Reconstruction Company today pledged an amount of Rs. 1.5 crore (One Crore and Fifty Lac) towards India's fight against COVID-19. Of the allocated budget, the Company has donated One crore to PMCares Fund, 25 lakh to CM relief fund-Covid 19 (Maharashtra) and Rs. 25 lakh will be parked for future preventive measures to contain the outbreak of Covid-19 in the country. In addition, the Company's employees will also donate voluntarily to PMCares Fund.
Commenting on the initiative, Vinayak Bahuguna, CEO and MD, Arcil, said, "It's a crisis of unprecedented proportions. To reemphasise our Hon'ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi's appeal - "Jaan hai to jahaan hai..." this is our bit to strengthen country's resolve in defeating this menace. At the same time, all the Arcilites are also doing their bit individually - be it in terms of spreading awareness or social distancing or donating towards the needs of the underprivileged hit by the lockdown."
