We are witnessing unprecedented times with pandemic COVID-19 casting its shadow not onlyin India but across more than 100 nations. Currently close to 7 lakhs people across the globe have tested positive for this virus and more than 33,000 people have lost their lives fighting it, and these number continue to rise by the day. However, it is heartening to see that the whole world stands united in this torrid times to beat this virus and emerge stronger and healthier than before. Every citizen is contributing to this fight by following the protocols set by the Central and State Governments and ensuring the safety of himself and the people around him at large.
In this respect, we would like to make a special mention about the efforts of the entire medical and support fraternity including doctors, paramedics, nurses, hospital staffs and healthcare workers who are providing an untiring and selfless service around the clock to help the affected patients. We salute them. We would also like to thank the Central and various State Governments for taking proactive measures to control the spread of this virus.
