ICRA Limited - the credit rating agency has vide its letter dated January 20, 2020 has reaffirmed the rating of "ICRA A1+" (pronounced as ICRA A One Plus), indicating very strong degree of safety for the commercial papers amounting to Rs 300 crores.
This rating indicates that the instrument has very strong degree of safety regarding timely payment of financial obligations. Such instrument carries lowest credit risk.
Mr. N S Kannan, MD & CEO of ICICI Prudential Life said, "As articulated earlier, our aspiration is to double the FY2019 Value of New Business (VNB) in 3-4 years. In that context, I am happy to report that we are on track and have been able to grow the VNB by 25% year on year to Rs. 11.35 billion for 9M-FY2020."
