Visaka Industries Ltd, with a view to cater the south Indian markets more efficiently as well as to retain its position as the largest production capacity company in Fibre Cement Boards, is undertaking expansion of its V-Boards division by setting up a new unit in the state of Tamil Nadu.
The new facility will have a capacity of 50,000 MTs at an outlay of Rs. 100 crores. The expansion project will be funded through internal accruals.
Shares of VISAKA INDUSTRIES LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.421.9 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 408.15. The total number of shares traded during the day was 4763 in over 285 trades.
