The increase is in line with Centre's Ayushyaman Bharat Yojana. The Government has also increased the income limit of the family under MA Vatsalya Yogana from Rs. 3 lacs to Rs. 4 lacs. Currently there are about 69.56 lacs family members covered under the scheme.
This will benefit a huge number of citizens of the state who otherwise are finding it difficult to get this treatment done due to economic reasons.
