Can Fin Homes Ltd appoints Shri Debashish Mukherjee as an Additional Director

The Board of Directors of Can Fin Homes Ltd at their meeting held on March 12, 2019, Tuesday, have appointed Shri Debashish Mukherjee as an Additional Director (Non-executive Promoter) on the Board of the Company.

Shri Debashish Mukherjee is an Executive Director in Canara Bank (Promoter). He is not related to any other Director or Key Managerial Personnel of the Company and he is not debarred from holding the office of Director by virtue of SEBI Order or any other such authority.

The term of the current CEO is ending shortly. The Board has advised the Company to go ahead with the recruitment of a CEO from the market.

Shri Debashish Mukherjee is an MBA (Finance) from the University of Kolkata. He started his career with Punjab National Bank as a Financial Analyst in scale II in 1994.

He joined United Bank of India as an Asst. General Manager (Credit) in the year 2006. He worked in various capacities at Regional Offices, headed Corporate Finance Branch at Kolkata and was Regional Manager of Bihar Region. He has vast experience in Corporate Credit, Credit Monitoring and Recovery. He is an avid reader and has travelled extensively.

Shri Debashish Mukherjee has takeh charge as Executive Director of Canara Bank on 19/02/2018. He is overseeing the functions of Risk Management (including Capital planning), Financial Management and subsidiaries, MSME, Credit Administration & Monitoring, stressed Assets Management and Recovery, Inspection, Treasury, International Operations & Corporate Customer Relations. He is also one of the Directors on the Board of Bank's Mutual Fund Subsidiary viz., Canara Robeco Asset Management Company and Bank's Life Insurance Partner, M/s Canara HSBC OBC Life Insurance Company.

The meeting of Board of Directors was commenced at 10:00 a.m. and concluded at 12:30 p.m.

Shares of CAN FIN HOMES LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.307.35 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 287.6. The total number of shares traded during the day was 239671 in over 2820 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 309 and intraday low of 289.55. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 72682410.
