PVR Ltd has announced the opening of 3 screens multiplex at Kirti Mall, Jalgaon, Maharashtra. This multiplex is equipped with 2K projection system, next-generation 3D-enabled screens and 7.1 Digital Dolby surround sound in all auditoriums. The multiplex is spread across and area of 22,927 sq.ft. with a seating capacity of 945 seats.
With this launch, PVR's screen count in Maharashtra stands at 165 screens in 40 properties augmenting its presence in the Western region of the country to 253 screens in 60 properties.
With this opening, PVR now operates the largest multiplex network with 730 screens at 157 properties in 62 cities.
Shares of PVR LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.1367.2 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 1363.7. The total number of shares traded during the day was 13037 in over 762 trades.
