'All Weather Investing' - asset allocation with ETFs launched on

Posted On: 2018-09-14 16:53:40

Portfolio investment platform has introduced an innovative instrument for retail investors called "All Weather Investing" smallcase. The All Weather Investing smallcase is a portfolio of low-cost ETFs that distribute your money in Equity (stocks), Gold & Fixed Income (bank FD returns), to reduce volatility, while ensuring stable returns at lower risks, in the long term.

"While equity is undoubtedly the best asset class to invest in for the long term, it becomes difficult for all of us to overlook market fluctuations in the short term and stay invested. Our intelligent algorithms rebalance the All Weather Investing smallcase quarterly, making sure your money is in the right asset class at the right time," said Anugrah Shrivastava, Cofounder & Head - Investment Products, smallcase Technologies.

All Weather Investing smallcase is built for stability. The company charges NO FEES for Buy & Exit of All Weather Investing smallcase.

"We believe this is a recession-proof investment instrument. Liquid funds give you fixed income exposure and you get better returns through equity & gold exposure that work well in both up & down markets," Shrivastava added.

The All Weather Investing smallcase is available on Zerodha, India's first and largest discount brokerage firm. smallcase Technologies recently completed two years of partnership with Zerodha. Since its launch in July 2016, over Rs 1,300 crores have been transacted in smallcases in the equity delivery segment.

Commenting on the milestone, Vasanth Kamath, CEO of smallcase Technologies, said "We launched two years ago with the vision to make equity investing simpler and offer investors a low-cost, transparent investment option that gave them control over their investments. In Zerodha, we have a partner that understands the problem we are solving."

Nithin Kamath, Founder & CEO, Zerodha, said, "Thrilled with the success smallcase has had over the last two years. Smart allocation products are seeing increased adoption in developed markets and have made investing a whole lot easier and cheaper. It is just a matter of time that it happens in India as well. With the amazing investing experiences smallcase has built so far, I believe that they can be the torchbearers of this shift."
