Tejas Networks Ltd wins Aegis Graham Bell Award for TJ1400 OLT

Tejas Networks Limited hereby informs that it was announced as a winner in "Digital India Initiative" category for their innovation "TJ1400-OLT: Converged Optical Access and Transport Platform" at Aegis Graham Bell Award 2017, honouring the best innovation in the ICT domain in India. Tejas Networks has been applauded as a winner at the 8th edition of Aegis Graham Bell Award at NDMC Convention Center, New Delhi.

Aegis Graham Bell has been promoting innovations and entrepreneurship in Telecom, Data Science, Smart City Solution, Cyber Security, Digital India, Cloud and Mobility. AGBA has been rewarding those who made outstanding contribution in these fields since 7 years with a vision to foster and stimulate innovators, for India to become a nucleus of innovations.

Tejas Networks has innovated and created a new Converged Broadband Access and Packet Transport product called TJ1400-Optical Line Terminal (OLT) that is designed to simultaneously deliver both high-speed fiber-based broadband services and packet transmission services over an integrated platform. TJ1400-OLT is fully conceptualized, designed, developed and manufactured in India and the IPR for the product is fully owned by Tejas Networks.

TJ1400-OLT is an innovative converged packet optical product that enables flexible, scalable and cost-effective delivery of both high-speed broadband access and packet transport services on optical fiber. TJ1400-OLT has been deployed in over 1500 block offices in 16 states as part of Government of India's BharatNet Project and is currently extending high-speed broadband services to over 45,000 gram panchayats in the country," said Sanjay Nayak, CEO & MD, Tejas Networks.

Shares of Tejas Networks Ltd was last trading in BSE at Rs.350.9 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 354.6. The total number of shares traded during the day was 9747 in over 507 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 360.35 and intraday low of 349. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 3440171.
