700 KM Railway Lines to be double lines

The Minister of Railways, Kumari Mamata Banerjee has announced that a target of 700 km has been fixed for the doubling of following railway lines during the next financial year. The Minister stated this while presenting the Railway Budget for the year 2010-2011 in the Lok Sabha today.
