Jayaswals Neco Ltd has announced that the production at the Steel Plant Division of the Company at Siltara Growth Centre, Raipur in Chhattisgarh has been stopped since October 26, 2007 as a result of break down at the Blast Furnace of the Company.
The technicians and Engineers are working round the clock to repair and restart the production activities at the Blast Furnace. It is expected that the operations will be resumed in 4 days.
All other Divisions are working normally, as usual.
The stock closed the day at Rs.36.25, up by Rs.1.70 or 4.92%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.36.25 and low of Rs.34.
The total traded quantity was 1304309 compared to 2 week average of 960720.
