The Board of Directors of HeidelbergCement India Ltd at its meeting held on February 11, 2013, has approved setting up of a Waste heat Recover based Power Generation Plant at its Clikerisation unit at Narsingarh, District Damoh (M.P.). The proposed plant will produce approximately 12.15 MW of power from available waste heat of pyro-processing system of all three clinkerisation lines at Narsingarh.
The project cost is estimated to be in the range of Rs. 1450 million to Rs. 1500 million and it is likely to be operational in January 2015. It will substitute equivalent grid power and thus reduce power cost per ton of clinker and improve profitability.
The HeidelbergCement India Ltd stock was trading at Rs.45.50, down by Rs.1.25 or 2.67%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.49.80 and low of Rs.44.75.
The total traded quantity was 0.65 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 0.41 lakhs.
